A FEW IDEAS FOR A SPECIAL AND GENEROUS HALLOWEEN

Happy Halloween! What are your plans? I really hope you have a good one!

Here are a few things that I would like to share with you about Halloween… so that we can try to make it special also for many other children and their families.

– FARE (Food Allergy & Research Education) launched last year the The Teal Pumpkin Project as a way to keep children with food allergies safe, while still allowing them to participate in Halloween night festivities.  It is an amazing movement! You can be part by joining 100.000 households. Teal pumpkins could save kids’ lives this Halloween and encourages empathy for kids living with food allergies.

 

–  The Heart of Spirit Halloween:  Spirit of Children. Founded in 2006, Spirit of Children helps make hospitals less scary for kids and their families by providing fun during Halloween. It’s a remarkable event that touches thousands of pediatric patients and brings countless smiles and laughter to children who might otherwise miss out on the joy of Halloween.  For more detailed information about this  charitable cause, please visit their web.

 

– I have ordered these delicious Halloween cookies by La Galleta Solidaria  , a Spanish charity that for every cookie sold gives 1 kg of food to different foundations and shelters.  They have many different flavours and models. Their Christmas cookies are also amazing!
