KIDS & DOLPHINS: THE MUNDOMAR DOLPHIN ENCOUNTER EXPERIENCE

I am so thrilled to share with you one of our favorite family experiences ever: the Mundomar Dolphin Encounter.

Mundomar is an extraordinary animal park located in Benidorm, capital of Costa Blanca, Alicante. The Costa Blanca is one of the main tourist areas of Spain and Benidorm is the most important town, with a microclimate setting all year round.

All my life I have dreamt of swimming with dolphins, and finally, I could make this dream come true together with my oldest son.

Accompanied by their caregivers, we could learn all kinds of details about the biology and physiology of these beautiful and intelligent animals.

It was such an emotional experience! Dolphins really feel and share your tenderness!

For 30 minutes we could interact with them in different ways: they jumped above us, we could caress them, we swam with them, they gave us a big kiss… basically this interaction made us feel really special, and it was an amazing way to teach my son a lifetime love for these animals.

I truly recommend this experience for families and children (minimum 5 years old). There are no special requirements, except to know how to swim and not be pregnant.

In addition, and in order to treasure this experience, Mundomar gives you 2 photos of each encounter (really big size and with amazing high-quality) and a gift towel.

It is difficult to describe this unforgettable interaction with these animals and their eternal smiles…

It has been such a beautiful experience that I can just suggest that you experience it yourself with your family.

My youngest son is just 4 years old, so he was too young for this Dolphin Encounter, but Mundomar offers many other experiences for young children. We choose for him Swimming with Sea Lions.

He was accompanied by a sweet coach and could interact with these animals for about 40 minutes. He was kissed by them, and he could caress them and learn many interesting and educational facts about them.

All these experiences include the free access to the park, so you can discover many other animals and enjoy their amazing shows, playgrounds, and attractions.

This dolphin interaction has such positive benefits for children, that since 2001 The Mundomar Foundation has started to develop free dolphins therapy programs for children with physical or psychical dysfunctions. Please be so kind to share their amazing project that is helping children with cerebral palsy, autism, Down Syndrome, and spinal atrophy.

Each child receives a unique experience that has been designed specifically for him, considering his medical report, and will take part in an interactive program of six continuous days (from Mondays to Saturdays, with a duration of 30 minutes each day).
