SOLAR SYSTEM PLANETARIUM
Science is about learning the world, and this was a fun project for my oldest son. He built his own 30 cm glow-in-the-dark solar system planetarium model using 4m’ Solar System Planetarium.
This Solar System Planetarium set teaches children about the wonders of the solar system. It is recommended for ages 8 years and up and not suitable for children under 3 years old.
This scientific toy contains a 3-dimensional Solar System planetarium model, 1 brush, 1 strip of paint pots, glow paint, a stand and rotating arms, 9 steel bars, sandpaper, Saturn ring template, detailed instructions and a bonus wall chart of the Solar System. No batteries are required.
First, my son assembled the system, and then he painted and highlighted the planetarium with glow effects.
It is an easy and creative way for children to learn more about the Solar System: the Sun as a central star and the planets that orbit it. It also contains full information on each planet, including distance from the sun, spinning time, diameter, number of moons… It is a fun and inspiring science craft (not suitable for kids under 3. years old)!
