ELENA ODRIOZOLA: AWARD WINNING ILLUSTRATOR

This wonderful illustration by Elena Odriozola is the cover of a  new picture book edition of Cinderella.

A former publicist, Elena started to work as an illustrator in 1997.  Since then, she has illustrated more than a 100 books that have been edited in Spain, France, United Kingdon, Mexico and Taiwan.

 

I have long admired Elena Odriozola’s work as she has beautifully illustrated some great children’s books.

“Oda a una estrella” by Pablo Neruda is probably one of my favorites.

World Kids would like to congratulate Elena as she has just been awarded with the prestigious “Premio Nacional de Ilustración” given by the Spanish Culture Ministry.  Congratulations Elena!
