LET’S GO TO ITALY!
“You may have the universe if I may have Italy” – Giuseppe Verdi
Would you like to join me on a fascinating journey to Italy? While traveling is still not possible, we can daydream about a future trip to Italy, one of my favorite countries, full of wonders, art, beauty, and the best food.
Our friends from Little Gestalten have recently published “Let’s Go to Italy!“, a high-quality and surprising book written by Monika Utnik-Strugala with gorgeous illustrations by Anna Ladecka.
“Let’s Go to Italy!“ introduces children to the Italian culture through the topics of food, literature, history, music, language, and sports. Children are encouraged to discover amazing facts and curiosities about Italy while diving into its rich traditions, culture, history, and legendary food. They will explore ancient ruins, visit the most important monuments, feel inspired by Galileo Galilei and Leonardo da Vinci’s figures, travel in a gondola, dress-up for a masquerade, and eat lots of pizza and ice-creams.
Let’s Go to Italy! gives children a fun and good overview of the country from many perspectives. The book includes a small dictionary with the most used words and expressions in Italian, a complete glossary, and many great recipes that have been adapted for children.
“Let’s Go to Italy!” is a love story to one of the most beautiful countries in the world, to its huge heritage and amazing culture. It is also a celebration to travel with a gelato in hand. Buon viaggio!
