HOTEL DESIGN: SHORELINE WAIKIKI (HAWAI)
If you are also feeling paralyzed amid this pandemic, I hope you might be able to “see the world in a new light.” Somehow we should try to emerge from this hibernation and crisis with a positive mindset, but I understand that it is not always easy to see the future with optimism. COVID-19 is changing our lives, but we can still dream of exotic beach destinations. Please take care! Sending you all my best health wishes for you and your families and beloved ones in these uncertain times
I am pleased to share with you the transformed Shoreline Hotel Waikiki, hoping that its playful design with a focus on neon colors and Hawaiian influences might brighten up your day.
The property has been completely renovated and transformed by BHDM Design, an award-winning creative collective of designers, architects, artists, and illustrators. They chose the theme “Nature meets Neon,” bringing to life the dramatic landscape and sunsets of Hawaii with a contemporary and fresh twist.
The design is bold and impactful, featuring: “jungle wall” art pieces, commissioned mural artwork, custom furnishings, neon color palettes, rattan cage light fixtures, bird sculptures, and geometric shapes.
Shoreline Hotel Waikiki provides guests with an unforgettable experience, offering a complete calendar of many family-friendly activities (Shave Ice Hour and Cotton Candy Hour) and great amenities: beach accessories, lobby refreshments, and a welcome package of Hawaiian necklaces and beverages.
The hotel is situated just one block from Waikiki Beach, in the beautiful Honolulu.
I leave you now with this Aloha towel sign, the beautiful Hawaiian word to describe love, affection, peace, kindness, and compassion. I have read that this word is not just a simple greeting but is used by Hawaiians to define a more profound spiritual force and connection to hold together existence. Aloha, my friends!
